Abstract

This article presents the development of a mobile carbon dioxide (CO2 ) monitoring station based on the LI-830 sensor, available at the School of Physics of the Multidisciplinary Faculty at Universidad de El Salvador. The efficiency and usefulness of the LI830 sensor were enhanced through the integration of current low-cost technologies. In particular, the data transmission was implemented using GPRS technology, allowing for immediate transfer of data to an online database. This integration simplified data management and facilitated a detailed analysis for researchers. Additionally, an online visual dashboard was developed to graphically represent the results, thus improving the interpretation capacity of the collected information. This work significantly strengthens the effectiveness of the mobile station for CO2 monitoring on volcanic slopes.
