Abstract
This research focused on the analysis of the evolution and trend of the generation gap and nursing education between 1968 and 2021 using bibliometric indicators. A bibliometric, descriptive and retrospective method was used, in Scopus, with the descriptors “Nursing educat*”, “generation*” and the boolean operator “AND”, which showed 653 results between the dates aforementioned. Also, bib and csv filters were used. The online search was conducted on October 9, 2021 using the Bibliometrix R Package software and the Biblioshiny tool. Results indicated a high scientific production in 2020 (54 published articles). This study shows investigation lines and patterns in Nursing education such as educational models, interpersonal relations and organizational innovation.
